Product Overview
The Achilli MSA45 miter saw is manufactured with a heavy-duty galvanized steel frame and features a powerful 12.5 hp motor with variable RPM and feed speed control. The MSA45 cuts materials “face down” which allows it to cut precision miters even on uncalibrated slabs. 10 pneumatic pistons secure the work piece while cutting and a special limit switch reduces travel speed at the end of the cut to prevent chipping. Cutting precision is controlled by head travel on linear guides fitted with recirculating ball slides and the position of the blade cutting from bottom upwards.
The worktable features scratch resistant protective strips and a side extension table is provided for working with L-shaped work pieces. Motorized pop-up rollers on the worktable make positioning and removing materials easy. Stone 8mm- 80mm thick can be processed on the MSA45 and blade capacity is 14”-18”.
