Seam Phantom 2.0 DLX For Center Water Feed Makita PW5001C With 46" Rail

The Seam Phantom® is an innovative solution designed to achieve flawless seams in stone and quartz materials. This system features an advanced rolling tool carriage design with adjustable depth, a sturdy aluminum guide rail, and specialized diamond abrasives to create precise, repeatable, and nearly invisible seams.   

The Seam Phantom® 2.0, the next evolution of the Seam Phantom® seam dressing system. The 2.0 boasts the innovative Ultra Guide, which features a double dovetail center guide and plastic wear strips on the rail's top surface. The double dovetail design of the Ultra rail not only enhances rigidity but also enables center clamping with the provided clamps. When paired with the angular wheels of the new 2.0 carriage, this unit better resists the vertical load on the tool carriage roller face providing superior precision.

The Seam Phantom® 2.0 is available in two different series, the LT and the DLX: 

The LT Version (Lite version) functions similar to the original Seam Phantom™. A fabricator holds the Seam Phantom in position on the Ultra Guide while grinding. The new angled wheels mate perfectly with the Ultra Guide fence to help support the unit during use. Low-friction strips on the top of the Ultra Guide allow the Seam Phantom to slide easily and the anti-rattle adjustment nut provides precise depth control with less backlash. The rigid design, manufactured from quality materials and combined with U.S. machining and assembly, produces predictably excellent results.

The DLX Version (Deluxe version) builds on the LT version by adding a second set of guide rollers that ride on the opposing side of the dovetail guide rail providing even more stability for the unit. In addition, a new spring-loaded clamping mechanism allows users to leave the tool carriage in place when the guide is clamped down to the material.
