Weha has taken steel rodding and encapsulated it with 8 strand premium fiberglass and then reinforced it with carbon fiber. This triple layer rodding material produces incredible strength and because the steel is completely enclosed, there is no need to worry about rust. Additionally, this rodding was designed with adhesive groves that run the length of each side. The adhesive groves provide a space for adhesive to enter the rodding and provide a strong mechanical bond, anchoring the rodding to the adhesive.
