Weha Filter Project DS50 5 Bag Sludge Dehydrator With Pump

The DS-50 Sludge Dehydrator is a sludge removal system that uses 5 filtration bags to capture and remove sludge from water systems. The unit is one of the lowest-cost and most user-friendly systems available for this task. The body is constructed of AISI304 stainless steel for excellent resistance to corrosion and a long working life. The unit is constructed in Italy and it uses premium valves and electrical components.  A strong and durable 1hp submerged pump is also included for extracting sludge.

The Sludge Dehydrator reduces the downtime associated with removing sludge from floor pits or tanks. Simply install the DS-50 and begin pumping sludge into its 99-gallon holding tank. The sludge is then gravity-fed down through the hopper and distributed to the 5 filtration bag stations. Each bag station has an independent shut-off valve which is used when changing out bags. When a bag has filled with solids, simply turn off that valve and allow the bag to de-water and the mud inside to dry out for disposal. 

The DS-50 is an efficient way to remove a large volume of solids from wastewater, it reduces the amount of time needed to maintain floor pits or holding tanks, and it reduces the workload of any additional filtration steps located downstream of the unit.
