Product Overview
The ChemSet CA2400 is our general-purpose “thick” viscosity (2400cps) cyanoacrylate adhesive useful in wicking or penetrating applications and bonding closely fitted parts. Used in our Chip Repair Kits the CA2400 is considered our “thick-set” which is better for your deeper chips, gouges, and cracks.
ChemSet CA2400 is also a medium-high viscosity cyanoacrylate for large gap-fill applications. CA2400 provides faster set times and improved gap-filling capability compared to conventional cyanoacrylates. The adhesive bonds to a wide range of substrates including metals, ceramics, plastics, and elastomers. It is excellent for bonding difficult-to-bond plastics such as polyacetals. It can also be used on passivated metal surfaces.
