Utilizing the same proven abrasive formula as the original Rigid Turbos, the Floating Turbos incorporates a color-coded semi-rigid plastic laminate and utilize a hook and loop attachment. The plastic laminate keeps the abrasive rigid as it wears thin to yield a consistent flat polish, and the hook and loop provides enough "float" to make them extremely forgiving in use. You can utilize these for all our flat edge polishing and top polishing. These attach to the 3" Center Hub Hook and Loop Backer which in turn locks securely into our standard SL3® Snail Lock Adapter. Buy a backer for every grit for the ultimate quick change polishing system.
The goal of the SL3® system was to make a universal quick-change attachment system for stone fabricators and installers. Changing from general material removal tools to various polishing pads is now quick and easy. No more screwing and unscrewing different abrasives. No stopping to peel and replace hook and loop pads. You can change any SL3® item with a simple quarter turn. This system will save any
